About the Virtual War Memorial

The Larchmont Historical Society maintains the Larchmont Virtual War Memorial as a tribute to the men and women who gave their lives to defend our nation and our community.

The Society’s goal is that each soldier whose sacrifice is honored will, in time, have an individual website that integrates information about his or her life in Larchmont and service to our nation.

Family members, friends and associations can forward information to the Society at a special email address set up for the project:

memorials@larchmonthistory.org.

The project includes all of the memorials in 10538, which is the area that the Larchmont Historical Society is chartered to serve. The area includes the Village of Larchmont and the unincorporated part of the Town of Mamaroneck. Our virtual memorial includes other local memorials that include the names of Larchmonters. Once a memorial is included, our policy is to all of the names on our Roll of Honor, and to develop an individual website for each honored soldier as information becomes available.
